HTTPS Scanning of startups.co.uk #18

Scanning startups.co.uk (HTTPS) is taking very long time. Could you please advise why is it taking so long and when it will finish?

Hi Veronik, Sorry it seems to be taking a long time to run the report. Are more URLs still appearing in the log output to either the main list or the debug log?

No, I can see the website is still scanning. It has found 748 pages, 29 assets and 50,000 issues. The numbers are not changing anymore.

That is strange, I'll just try a scan of this site as well. The default max issues limit is 50,000 so it sounds like it has stopped the report but the report screen should now show. Could you try pressing the stop button to see if that pushes it to show the report?

How long would you estimate it's been stuck on this screen for? It's possible it's using a bit too much memory or cpu on your machine, would you be able to check the memory & cpu usage on your machine currently?

Hi I am afraid that I change the memory usage at the moment. What else can I do?

Ah ok. What OS & version are you using? E.g. Windows 10.

Hi Veronik, Glad it's finished running now, sorry it took so long to run. I'll do some more testing on windows 7 to see if I can reproduce this to speed it up in the future. Thank you for reporting this, let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
