6 months ago After coming back to this issue, I've realized that I was using a different script than the one included with this package. They were both so similarly named that I lost track without realizing it. The other one was out-of-date. Closing the issue.
I have extracted the MMLC ROMs from Proteus.exe with the Python script via IDLE and applied the IPS patches, but when I try to run the ROMs via Mesen and agg23's openFPGA core on Analogue Pocket, they don't run. Mesen gives an error message, and the Pocket displays a gray screen. I've run both Lunar IPS and IPS-win for applying the IPS patches selecting the .nes and .ips files under the correct menu selections. I've also tried running Mesen with its auto-patching function when opening the related ROM (with both the ROM and patch sharing the same filenames). All patching attempts fail to produce functional, patched ROMs. An update just came out for MMLC on Steam today. I've tried patching on both the previous and now current versions. I don't know if there's been a change in the ROM offsets or if I'm missing something. The screenshot contains the build ID. Thanks for your time.
