Do you mean 'antibody blockade'? This method cannot be used to detect new interactions but to study the effets of a known interaction disruption. So I am a bit reluctant to put is as an interaction method as it is a 'negative interaction observation'. Could you give a reference?

Follonwing discussion immunodepletion will be a child of CoIP and defined as 'Method involving 2 CoIp on the same sample, a control one where an interaction is detected, and a second one where the sample is previously treated with a specific antibody that precipitate a candidate interactor and lead to an interaction supression.' example in 11980720: interaction between baz1a and baz1b 17190598: interaction between atxn1 and cic 17081976: interaction between BRCA1 and BARD1 9792637:

The use of antibodies raised against one protein to detect the depletion of the complex of interacting proteins. The depletion of the complex is indicates the interacting proteins.
