"synthetic lethal" (MI:0219) and "synthetic growth defect" (MI:0274) are obsoleted/deprecated terms. I understand your request but we are trying to use the following terms to describe genetic interaction: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ontology-lookup/browse.do?ontName=MI&termId=MI%3A0208&termName=genetic%20interaction
and each interaction gene could also have an annotation from the following terms http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ontology-lookup/browse.do?ontName=MI&termId=MI%3A0787&termName=genetic%20experimental%20form
I am not an expert in genetic interactions but I wonder if your term request would not be redundant with what is already in place.

The terms are from SGD/Biogrid and can indeed be mapped to the current MI terms using "genetic interaction"/"genetic experimental form"--we are in the process of producing xml files witht these terms

"dosage growth defect" (new), "dosage lethality" (new), "dosage rescue" (new), "synthetic rescue" (new), "synthetic lethal" (MI:0219) and "synthetic growth defect" (MI:0274) proposed to be put as subtree of "synthetic genetic analysis" (MI:0441)
definitions:
"dosage growth defect" - taken from SGD glossary, This term is used to identify and describe interaction data displayed at SGD. In this type of experiment, a genetic interaction is inferred when overexpression or increased dosage of one gene causes a growth defect in a strain that is mutated or deleted for another gene.
"dosage lethality" - taken from SGD glossary, This term is used to identify and describe interaction data displayed at SGD. In this type of experiment, overexpression or increased dosage of one gene causes lethality in a strain that is mutated or deleted for another gene.
"dosage rescue" - taken from SGD glossary, This term is used to identify and describe interaction data displayed at SGD. In this type of experiment, a genetic interaction is inferred when overexpression or increased dosage of one gene rescues the lethality or growth defect of a strain that is mutated or deleted for another gene.
"synthetic rescue" - taken from SGD glossary, This term is used to identify and describe interaction data displayed at SGD. In this type of experiment, mutation/deletion of one gene rescues the lethality or growth defect of a strain mutated/deleted for another gene.
