A new term is needed to annotate PMID: 19561609 According to http://www.fortebio.com/bli\_technology.html ' It is an optical analytical technique that analyzes the interference pattern of white light reflected from two surfaces: a layer of immobilized protein on the biosensor tip, and an internal reference layer'. Experimental setup seems to be quite similar to SPR so the new term should be most likely its sibling.
