Presence of some features (ie phosphrorylated residues) can be detected through amino-acid analysis and used to detect enzymatic activities - see eg, PMID:16373505. Thus It would be useful to add a term 'aminoacid analysis' with a child 'phosphoaminoacid analysis' as a new branch within feature detection method. As alternative, just 'aminoacid analysis' could be added with assumption that the appropriate modification (say, phosphotyrosine at unspecified location) will be mentioned as PTM.
