transient complex #332

Closed noedelta closed 8 years ago

A macromolecular complex of which the participants associate and dissociate in vivo. There are two types of transient complexes: Weak transient complexes that feature a dynamic oligomeric equilibrium in solution where the interaction is broken and formed continuously and strong transient associations that require a molecular trigger to shift the oligomeric equilibrium.

same case as 'permanent complex' - as long as 'child_of' means the same as 'is_a' a term cannot be a child of both 'obligate complex' and 'non-obligate complex' :o/
