flurophore donor/acceptor to fluroscence donor/acceptor #57

In the case of FRET we have the acceptor Fluorophore and the donor Fluorophores. However for the techniques like BRET and HTRF we only have the fluorophore acceptors present. Can we change the above two roles to fluroscence acceptor and fluroscence donor. This will cover the techniques like BRET and HTRF where luminescense or fluoroscent lanthanides are used as a fluroscence donor respectively.
