Controllers work out to be +1 for any sane setting.
I'm on the fence about the +1 controller, while it gets another patch and this will also buff collection rate, I think it should be fairly small (6 colls mine only marginally slower than 4, unless a game goes to 40m or something?). It would be extremely nice to be able to use patches like the ones on angel wing with just controllers. But eh.
