1. Hybrid cloud image sync across clouds

Plan:

Analyze the scenario of Image sync, and design the solution of Image sync

  • [x] Analyze the scenario of Image sync, and design the solution of Image sync service.
  • [x] Review the design in the team.

Status:

Qifei have finished solution design, and wait for team review.

2. Native image transfer to hyper image

Plan:

Analyze the scenario of Image convert, and design the solution of Image convert service

  • [x] Analyze the scenario of Image convert, and design the solution of Image convert service.
  • [x] Verify the method of converting native image (qcow2/vmdk) to hyper image (docker/lxc/lxd).

Status:

Qifei have finished solution design, and wait for team review.

Qifei start verify the method of converting native image(qcow2) to LXC container.

Status:

Qifei have verified the method of converting native image(qcow2) to LXC container. The OS we verified：ubuntu-server-14.04-64bit, centos-server-6-64bit. Qifei is going to develop a demo to convert native image(qcow2) to LXC container.

Seek Help:

We need Compatibility Lab help us to compliance testing of LXC

Status:

The solution design have be reviewed on 2016.7.28. Qifei have modified the design and we will start to develop.
