Concept: It's boring to stare at an editing tool just translating whatever you might find upon the thousands of story data files. Instead of doing that, why not just let people translate while they play?
The translation tool would be based on the built-in GUI. It would pop up automatically whenever a story starts playing, with text boxes to edit various text content within the current story dialogue. The user can also preview how their translation would look. Once the user is done translating the current dialogue, it returns input to the user and pops up again whenever the user goes to the next dialogue, so on and so forth. When the story ends, it automatically saves the translation file.
This would solve several issues (of the currently available translation tools):
Better translation coverage: When working with the current translation tools, translators will often only work on a single category within the story data; which could often be their favorite characters. However, there are countless other stories that might be played while playing the game, and character-specific stories only take a portion of what's actually being played in-game.
By having translators work on the stories that they actually go through while playing the game, they would cover much more stories that people are more likely to see.
Improved efficiency: External translation tools can be hard to work with, especially when you have thousands of files to manage. This would essentially cut all of that out of the process, letting you focus on translating without having to navigate through anything. Additionally, since the editor is continuously being presented to the user with each story section they go through, they don't waste any time looking for something to translate.
Prevent jank: By letting translators preview their translations, they can make changes their translations right on the spot to fit the dialogue box if needed. No more guesswork or the need for a smaller font to accommodate for the probability that there are translations that might be too long to fit.
Ease of Access: This would essentially make Hachimi a 2-in-1 tool for both translators and translation users. No need to download or install anything else.
