Verbose Mode #2

It would be nice to implement a verbose mode for use in interactive mode and testing. Currently, system is designed to be used as a network monitor in headless mode, with no standard output. Verbose mode should be configurable in init.

Having changed the use case that this utility is written to provide, this feature is no longer necessary; closing the issue.
