Any chance you will be making a version of this for Windows Phone 8.1?

I'm using it on WP8.1. What problems do you have? Or do you want a special RT version?

You are right. I'm looking for RT.

I've currently no plans, but sometime in the future I probably will.

But it was not so hard for WP8. You only have to implement the IMqttNetworkChannel interface. I guess it shouldn't be too hard to do the same for RT. You're welcome to fork :)
