Some notes:

This requires an SDK change, so reGen worker version 4 will be the minimum required for those workers to accept new samplers. (achieved in https://github.com/Haidra-Org/horde-worker-reGen/pull/78)
Legacy workers (AI-Horde-Worker) should work with no API-level or worker-level changes required.
