Again, can't reproduce. Retest on a newer nightly? As with the cut operation, could be some problem with VMSystem?

There in fact is a suggestion in the task that the student set up VM wrong.

Ah, OK. The VMSystem class creates a swap file in /tmp that perhaps was limited by the VM size the student was using.
