Add Deskbar replicant #8

There's currently no connection to the input_server filter/device. That comes next...

This concludes the replicant thingy. @OscarL , feel free to give it a try.

How do you feel about #5 ? Should we show/hide the Deskbar replicant instead?

Cool! Will give it a go ASAP! But in the meantime... if it works for you... merge away! (Your changes LGTM after a quick review, and we can always open new issues/PR if refinements are needed)

Regarding #5... Sorry if I wasn't clear enough with my reply there... feel free to remove that "global enable toggle" thingie... (I should be able to keep a custom version, if I ever miss it too much :-P).

You were perfectly clear in #5. I just wanted to give you a last chance to change your mind before I axe the on/off switch. :)

I'll go ahead then. As I got only minor changes left, I'll probably just push them to master and don't bother with PRs. I'd love for you to keep having an eye on the commits though, and speak up when you see something you'd like changed or reverted. Thanks!
