Notifications are not suited for alarms #54

Since system notifications cannot be made "sticky" (yet), they are easily missed. Until then, it's better to pop up a window (alert). Or, how about changing the note's background colour to an alarming red?

I personally don't like popping up windows ... So I changed the alerts to notifications. Your second propose is okay for me!

I'm normally with you on needless alerts. In this case, however, we wouldn't want to miss the short lived notification while not looking for a few seconds. Changing background is the best solution IMO. I'll have a look at doing that for DeskNotes, TakeNotes' competitor. I'll have to sort out the localized time input first though... if I find the time... :)
