Unit request for hardness of materials, eg. HV1 #72

Would it be possible to add hardness units? In material scienes it is common to do a hardness test of a material and there are several testing procedures that can measure the hardness. It is standard to give a hardness value in the form of a numerical value along with a alphanumeric unit giving information about the test procedure and some specific information (depending on the procedure), for example the applied test load. For the common example "Vickers Hardness" a typical hardness value looks like 120 HV 1, where 120 is the hardness value, HV is the designation for vickers hardness and 1 refers to the load, in this case 1 kp (kilopond).

This would be possible. Is vickers hardness a scale or a unit? Not sure if we could formally define the load, but define different units such as 'HV 1', 'HV 2', etc. would be no problem. Should unit conversion be supported based on the loads, e.g., that HP 1 can be converted to HP 2? Or would that be irrelevant?
