This one will be left open, because investigations continue to arise.

[ ] Does a program with both a graphicswindow and textwindow end when either are closed?
[ ] Can a program with a graphics window and no main loop continue running (ex, listening for key events)?
[ ] Verify the keyboard inputs are correct

Yes, programs keep running with events.
