4 years ago Nice idea. This has been bugging me for a while about how the Covenant jobs are heavily race restricted which works badly with our character slot system. My plan was to allow preferencing across your character slots, so the jobmaster is no longer restricted to a single character slot, but your idea also goes towards slightly fixing the problem
instead of simply crossing out the roles your species can't actually access (I.e a human trying to join a covenant role) instead set up a system similar to the current AI systems in which it spawns you as that species with a random name. this will allow players more options, especially when it's their first time on the server who will see both sides open, instead of one crossed out with only UNSC slots open. It should hopefully make the covenant roles more appealing to new players and help allviveate ongoing covenant pop problems.
