Posts not making it to LJ #135

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just make the post as usual

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the post to save normally and be automatically posted to LJ. Instead I 
see an wordpress error page with the following error
"Something went wrong - -32300 : transport error - could not open socket"

What version of the plugin are you using? What version of WordPress?
Plugin version 2.0.6, WP version 3.2.1

This happens when the LiveJournal server is not available. I've just release 
version 2.1, which gives a nicer error message and doesn't stop other WordPress 
plugins from functioning.
