Subject Too Long leads to Multiple Crossposts #169

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When crossposting to Dreamwidth, create a post with a long title. Attempt to
post. It will fail with a DW error message, but post to WP.
2. Edit the post to have a short title. WIll repost successful to both WP and DW
3. Edit the post to have a long-but-not-too-long title. Will repost
successfully, but now you'll have two posts on Dreamwidth

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect to have only one version on Dreamwidth. My suggestion would be to
truncate the title if you get a "too long" to ensure there is one and only one
post corresponding to the original.

Actually -- what appears to be happening is that every update is creating a new
crosspost. That's really bad.

What version of the plugin are you using? What version of WordPress?
Latest and latest.
