Unable to compile MS_utilities.f90 #30

I'm trying to compile the CPU version of muSTEM using the community edition of PGI Community Edition v21.9. Everything seems to compile just fine except for MS_utilities.f90 where I get the following error:

NVFORTRAN-F-0000-Internal compiler error. Could not locate uplevel instance for stblock 1899 (MS_utilities.f90: 138)

I can't see anything in the code that should cause an error. Has this been observed in other instances? If so, what is the workaround?

For those interested, I was able to get this to work using PGI Community Edition v20.7
