As discussed in #2514 - it could be handy to have an extension that allows reading and writing to Keychain.

UICKeyChainStore looks like it's the most active and recently updated Keychain Objective-C framework around.

FWIW - I'm still interested in this. Will try have a look over the Christmas break.
