silk touch destroying hbm blocks

when you mine a hbm crate or a battery with a silktouch pickaxe it doesn't update the block to drop it just deletes it its done this several times i haven't tried this with the multi block hbm structures yet due to obvious reasons

UPDATE!

This is unable to be fixed as of this time till the HBM Rewrite due to how the mod was coded.
