I worked for 2 hours in class and 6 hours out of class.
I made revisions to my Proposal, continued making progress on the Tutorial, and I did some more research on sprites and other game assets.
I need to get some more clarification on Proposal revisions. I have to research enabling mouse controls in Phaser before moving forward with that part of the tutorial.
I mostly just need to sit down and do the research.
I worked for 2 hours in class and 5/6 hours outside of class.
I started researching materials for my Tutorial, I completed my Presentation, and made some minor revisions to my Proposal.
I didn't really run into any problems this week.
I need to find a different direction to go in with my Tutorial because adding mouse inputs for 2D platforming games is kind of difficult and not user-friendly.
I worked for 4 hours in class and 5 hours outside class.
I created a sample level to get other functional things working such as sprite rendering, movement mechanics, physics, and other necessary game elements that depend on having some form of a map. I am working through player movement and interactivity.
The player sprite is rendering, but I am unable to give keyboard inputs to move the sprite around.
I need to meet with Dr. Skiadas again to debug my code and implement more classes that are functionally necessary for the game
