Metro Exodus EE graphical glitches and eventual crash. #1851

After playing Metro Exodus EE in the Volga level, I noticed strange graphical bugs on car models in the distance, and at one point the screen went black for a few hundred milliseconds. Eventually, the game crashed with the error in the screenshot.

I haven't been able to reproduce this so far with RTX 3070 in the Volga level. I've tested with both Proton Experimental and GE. I don't know if I'm in the wrong location, or if it simply doesn't happen on Ampere.

Is there a specific location it happens in? If so, do you have a save file for it?

I don't. It happened in the next bunker level as well.

I don't know if it's related or not, but it feels like every other game launch the VK3D cache is being rebuilt. Atleast, I have to suffer through the intro cutscene with Mangohud reporting high CPU usage. This happens with The Finals as well.
