To be able to import a sample sheet from QX Manager you will need to export a table called “visible data”
I got these instructions from one of my collegues:
Open one of the result tabs on the left side in QXManager, and then open “Import/Export” in the top green field. Choose “Export visible data to CSV” and your folder of choice in the pop-up “save as”-window.
Alternatively: Open the 1D/2D/3D Amplitude/Concentration/Copy number/Ratio/ Fractional Abundance/Event Counts/Data Table window on the left side in QXManager results file and then press “import/Export” in the top green field. Choose “Export visible data to CSV” and your folder of choice in the pop-up “save as”-window.
In other words: At the left side of a QXMAnager results file open either:
-
1D/2D/3D Amplitude
-
Concentration
-
Copy number
-
Ratio
-
Fractional Abundance
-
Event Counts
-
Data Table Then press “import/Export” in the top green field. Choose “Export visible data to CSV” and your folder of choice in the pop-up “save as”-window.
If successful, you should have a table with two lines per well(similar as example csv from QuantaSoft) where columns ‘Sample description 1’ is used as sample name, ‘Target’ will contain name of target/control assay, and “DyeName(s)” will be used to specify channel (“FAM” -> channel 1, “VIC” -> channel 2)

I am trying to read in a csv sample sheet using 'importSampleSheet', but want to try the setting software="QX Manager". This fails in my end. Not fully sure why this is. Would it be possible to add an example of a csv sample file that can be imported with 'importSampleSheet' using the software="QX Manager" as an option?
