I've uploaded a modified version of the lectio.py here. It can be used to login with LecToCal. Use at your own risk.

Hi LecToCal smart people.

I have tried using this, many times, un-installing and reinstalling since this is the limit of my python knowledge.

I then went through the changed lectocal.py and found out the error: SyntaxError: (unicode error) 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xc6 in position 0: invalid continuation byte is connected to the letter "Æ" and the sign "!".

Without these, the script will run. But nothing happens.

I have no succes with any other fix. Can someone help?

Best Charlotte

Hello again.

I have tried using the "edit and replace" lectocal.py and I simply cannot make it work.

It complains:

SyntaxError: (unicode error) 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xc6 in position 0: invalid continuation byte

wich is the "Æ" and the "!"'s. Without these signs the script can run but nothing comes into my calender.

can I make python smarter, so it does not choke on Æ and ! ??

I still live with the whole my-work-has-no-calender-system-and-so-my-life-is-broken world and would love to get out, be on time and maybe find time to see a dentist... ^_^

help...?

Hey Charlotte,

I appreciate your concern. I think you might want to talk with @chubby1968 about this issue, if it is specifically in connecting with their altered version of the script.

Philip.

Thank you Hanse00

I am trying to catch his eye - I dont know how to write directly.. It is actually only the Æ that makes the problem, but then, one hick-up is enough.

Hey. I'll try to look into it soon. I've opened for issues in the repo for the altered version and made a issue specifically for this (as you can see above).
