Fuzzy Search (Create "How To" For Users) #34

Currently, the full-text search is not "fuzzy" enough. It deals well with German umlauts (Händel also gets hits like handeln), but we need to think about a solution for 19th-century German spelling. If you search for "Ästhetik," for example (without the quotation marks, of course), you don't get text passages in which Hanslick spells "Ästhetik" as "Aesthetik." This is important, as Hanslick switches to modern spelling in the 8th edition, so you currently cannot get all hits on the term Ästhetik/Aesthetik in one place.

Examples are "Ästhetik / Aesthetik", "eigentümlich / eigenthümlich", "Thatsache / Tatsache", etc.
