Dark mode only turns off on page reload #368

Describe the bug After enabling and disabling dark mode in the settings, the dark theme persists until the app is reloaded.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enable dark theme in settings
  2. Disable it after enabling it.

Expected behavior The app should return to its light theme
