The Library section (favorites, all notes) in the sidebar doesn't include notes from shared notebooks #1239

Used setup:

Mac OS version: 10.13.6
Quiver version: 3.2.3 (188)

What happened:

after restarting my Mac (after installing updates) restarting Quiver just showed me the changelog, had only the tutorial notes available (all other notebooks and notes were gone), app settings were still ok like they used to be
fortunately I had a backup (used almost only shared notebooks) but before opening them again, I uninstalled Quiver using AppCleaner and reinstalled it from AppStore

Problem:

adding notes from shared notebooks (notes from regular notebooks work) to favorites does not show notes in the favorites section, although in the background they seem to be added because right clicking these notes gives me the option to remove them from favorites again

Is that a known issue or is it somehow related to the way I "imported" the shared notebooks?

I am aware of this. It was a design change (the library section in the sidebar now only includes notes inside the library), but most likely I will change the behavior back.

Maybe via a pref for 'Include Shared Notes in favorites/tags list'? if was issue for some (for me I would like both to include shared notes)

I am also referring to the 'wrong' count in the 'all notes' section: this worked on one Mac after re-adding all shared notes again by hand. On the other Mac it didn't. Now, after a few months, it completely stooped working. Just my opinion: this behaviour makes no sense. I have quite fine-granular shared notebooks. Searching each notebook for an entry makes no sense at all, since it might be very time-consuming.

As user, I would like to be able to search all entries (including shared databases) for a keyword by choosing 'all notes' and using the 'filter by keyword, title or tag' field

I have the same issue. Shared notes don't show up in the sidebar and tags view.
