wait...

As it’s been since I believe November (6 months) since we’ve heard from the author, I think our best bet for new features at this point is to reimplement the entire software from scratch, unfortunately.

Unless anyone knows the author personally and/ or has some way to contact him outside of github.

ijoseph commented 4 years ago

Well, GitHub does say he’s making commits in private repositories, so the good news is that he’s apparently still alive and may even be still working on Quiver; he could also be working on something else entirely, though.

just want toc..... Besides, I feel satisfied about this verison.

on IOS , i hope the next version can sync with onedrive or icloud, but still no updates ... for a whole year

keeprock commented 4 years ago

Guys, just use Joplin. It is free and got everything Quiver has and more, which is included iOS version with editing and sync capabilities.

https://joplinapp.org/ (I'm not affiliated with that software, been looking for a replacement for Quiver after progress stalled)

Typora has the cleanest UI in my opinion.

Typora has the cleanest UI in my opinion.

https://obsidian.md/ is my new note taking app

ijoseph commented 3 years ago

I’ve been eyeing notable.app . Almost good enough except no pop-out windows so you can’t reference one note while making another (a personal non-starter).

Obsidian looks promising too.

MatthewLee123 commented 3 years ago

guys, any one of the above app can store webpage as quiver? I tried, but negative

ssnkhan commented 3 years ago

I've switched over to Bear.app -- the upcoming updates will introduce tables and some other editor improvements.

Sadly left Quiver after zero responses from @ylian (I hope he is okay). A real tragedy as it was a quality app - exported/migrated 3k+ notes.

Using Sublime Text(various plug-ins) plus 1Writer(mobile) for notes/zettelkasten plus a vote for iA Writer/Typora for long-form writing etc.

I'm Using VScode & markdown plugin now.
