[Feature request] Option to choose the standard Note View as "preview only" #366

I would love to be able to set the classic view mode as always to be the "preview only" mode.

Why? I have a lot of markdown notes for which I search regularily. I search more note much more often than editing them. So Quiver should ALWAYS open all the notes I look at in "preview only" mode. If I want to edit something I can click on the edit mode button.

My current workaround is to use the Global Quiver "Quick Note" Hotkey to write new notes (and double click to edit notes) and leave the main window in preview mode. But I would like a default option much better.

PS: Awesome app BTW, cant wait to see the iOS version :)

Right now the behavior is to always open in the last view mode. Maybe I can add an option to "Always open in preview mode".

Yes that would be really great!

@ylian : :+1:

I just bought the app about 30 minutes ago, and this is actually among the very first things I noticed. For notes I wish to reference, I'd like them to come up as preview mode by default.

Having an option for "Always open in preview mode" globally would be nice - though even better would be having the option to set individual notes as "open in preview mode". This feature would be amazing, especially for notes that are viewed/referenced more than they are edited.

Are there any news on that? Could there be an option in the settings to set the default view mode? (Edit Mode/Preview Mode/Split Mode)?
