restore backup overwrites notes made inbetween #618

  1. I backed up a version of my quiver library to iCloud
  2. Installed quiver on a new comp.
  3. I created a new note inside a new notebook (with the same name as a notebook in my backup)
  4. Opened an existing library from the presences -> sync panel
  5. lost my very important note forever

expected result: merge/rename of notebooks, with all notes preserved

I see. There might need to be an option "Merge" when opening another library. Also, your note is probably still here:

~/Library/Containers/com.happenapps.Quiver/Data/Library/Application\ Support/Quiver/Quiver.qvlibrary/

Just copy out the .qvnotebook you created. Then double click to import into your library.

Sweet, thanks! Quiver is probably in my top 5 favourite apps. It is on my list of what to install on a new dev machine. Thanks so much!
