Either email or GitHub issues is fine.
This is a great idea. I haven't thought much about improving the in-note search, but your suggestions make sense. I think this should be implemented together with the Table of Contents feature, since both deal with the internal logical structure of a note (headings, etc.). Maybe the TOC can be used together with the search field to narrow things down.
Let me fix some other urgent issues first (there are far bigger issues with global note search, for example), but I certainly like this idea.
Hello - I know how to search for notes with a single tag (#tagname1) but how do i search for notes that have two specific tag: I thought it might be #tagname1 #tagname2 but that does not work. Please advise. Thanks.

I agree. I have the same issue.
Searching is one area where Quiver falls far, far short of Evernote.
We urgently need to major updates to the search engine:
Same issue here. I think search should be a top priority, imho. At least, an ability to search two tags or more tags simultaneously.
Hi,
I didn’t know whether to email you or to leave this as a Github issue but it’s not really an issue. For extremely large notes, you could greatly improve the search functionality by being able to filter the scope to inline code, headings, or a specific type of cell. Would this be at all be possible in a future release? I realize it’s a big change, but it seems that cycling through a searched term some-100 times doesn’t seem helpful in my opinion. In my opinion, this would make the search bar more usable. If you do choose to consider it, you could make it similar to Gmail's filtering through text or even allow the user to create their own filter. Thanks for all the great work!
