I'd love to have this feature, too. It'd be just nice to store bash snippets with passwords or tokens already put into it. Although, I'm not sure partial obfuscation or encryption is a feasible thing, nor do I think it's intuitive and user-friendly. Maybe, protecting an entire cell would work better?
I'd also like to see this feature.
I think either encrypting a cell, note, or an entire notebook would work. For an encrypted notebook or cell, you'd need to enter the password prior to viewing the notes / cells. Ideally, the software would keep this key in memory for the duration of the current session (or timeout after X minutes).

Same here, this would be a great feature.
This is one of my main requests for evernote and dropbox. I'd gladly in-app purchase it.

Would also love to see this feature -- been hounding Evernote for years to no avail.
@marlowe310 @n3bulous EverNote does have that feature. Just select text in a note and right click it. You'll see the encryption option in the context menu.
I'd like to use Quiver to store scripts or snippets that contain passwords or other sensitive information (example, a mysql connection).
It would be nice to have a feature that let the user obfuscate/encrypt part of a text either in a text or code cell. Then, in order to see the original text we would need to use a master password (or a similar solution)
