As of the day this is created, DPT-RP1 and DPT-CP1 have unified version number 1.6.50.14130.

If you just want to update, it is safe and still root-able (please check the update guide).
If you are new, please check if your device is manufactured after September 2019. It seems they have fixed the updater script bug in diagnosis mode.
