Thumbnail is not viewable in certain subreddits #3062

Slide version: Latest Android version: 7

I have the latest version of slide and my post layout has View mode as card and Picture mode as Thumbnail. I'd like to make a feature request.

There is no thumbnail images from the source in certain subreddits but able to view those thumbnail images in Gallery mode in the same subreddits. For example all the news stories in r/worldnews doesn't have thumbnail images from the source website except slide's on default link thumbnail. Could you make it so that this is the case?

Issue 1 has been resolved in the latest version of Slide and as such I'm going to edit it out of your issue. Issue two can definitely be looked into and should be easy to implement.
