Android 10 Night mode interference #3095

Slide version: 6.2.2 Android version: 10 Device: Oneplus 6

I recently updated my phone to Android 10 and I frequently use its night mode that blocks blue light. When I use slider and night mode is on and click on a post that is either a image or video, night mode gets disabled. When I exit the post (to continue browsing) night mode comes back. I didn't have this issue on Android 9.

I can't replicate that issue on the same everything except Google Pixel 1.

This seems to be related to https://github.com/ccrama/Slide/issues/2908 where a potential fix was posted.
