Intelligent Screenshots #3193

This is a feature request for functionality similar to that in another Reddit client. I used to use Joey, which had a feature where an auto-cropped screenshot could be generated for a comment chain and a post.

For example, the following post structure: 

post content
post title
├─Comment 1
|├─Reply A
|| └─Reply B
||   └─Reply C
|└─Reply D
└─Comment 2

Hitting an action button in Reply C would generate an image including post content, post title, Comment, Reply A, Reply B, and Reply C. Content in Reply D and Comment 2 are ignored.

If I'm not mistaken, can't one get this result in Slide right now? In the menu on Reply C select Load comment permalink and then take a screenshot with the OS functionality.

If the content is too long (such as an large vertical image) or the comment chain is too deep to fit on the screen, this can't be done with a single screenshot

I don't know what this is like in iOS these days but Android has Scroll capture to take a long screenshot.

That's a good workaround for systems that support it (I'm running Android but do not have this functionality). However it doesn't expand post images to get all the content in.
