We already have wind, but I think I'm (a bit) against the thunder sound as this should not be handled by the aircraft but from the sim itself. Perhaps we can still add it... Anyway I was not able to see rain in the simulator. There is already a function to play a click (see the on/off animation of the arc radio).

And if you have too much time add a sliders in the sound dialog to configure the click sounds volume.

@Harald67 This has been discussed before with Thorsten and others in the forum, and there is one good reason why these things are handled by the aircraft instead of the sim: these sounds are really dependent on aircraft type. So a thunder will sound different on a slow propeller plane than on a high speed airliner. Same for rain in the windshield.

Anyway I was not able to see rain in the simulator.

Which version are you using? The external rain was broken at some point, but at 2016.2.1 it works well. Also, the rain effect on the glass has to be implemented for each aircraft, if that's what you are referring.

I think I won't be able to check it today, so I am opening a new issue for it so we don't forget. But I am not familiar on how these volumes work anyway, so it might take me a bit of time to learn how to do this

I'm using 2016.2.0...I think I lost the 2016.2.1 when I reverted from the bugged windows nightlies... Anyway I think that rain and thunder will be for 2016.4

Hmm, I suddenly can't hear the clicks on the master switches nor on ANY knobs in the panel (radio, instruments) nor of the trim wheel. Am I mistaken it and the aircraft never had those?
