"There is a discrepancy between Open Hardware Monitor 0.5.1 Beta and two other
types of monitoring software. The other two sofware products are Real Temp 3.70
and CPUID Hardware Monitor Pro 1.14.0. The discrepancy concerns the reported
CPU temperatures. Real Temp and CPUID H/W Mon indicate the same temperature
±1C but Open H/W Mon indicates temperatures typically 5 to 10 degrees Celsius
less than the other two. So, a typical reading is 55C for Real Temp/CPUID but
only 46C for Open H/W Mon. I also notice that Open H/W Mon and Real Temp
refresh the CPU temperatures every second whereas CPUID appears to refresh more
frequently. For that reason, I am inclined to make CPUID the 'reference'. I
have attached a screenshot that hopefully illustrates my point.
Please investigate."
