1. The combination Ctrl + Alt + F12 (or Alt + Ctrl + F12) does not activate or
deactivate the software as suggest here. Alt + F12 is the only combination that
enables or disables it. Can the steps to reproduce this issue be described in
detail?
2. Regarding giving user the option to assign the key combination to the
enable/disable feature, this issue has already been addressed in Issue 5. Goto
the
Issues tab.

Alt + F12 doesn't work for me.
For some strange reasons, Ctrl + Alt + F12 is the working combination in my PC

See if any other application has it's shortcut mapped to Alt+F12. We could not
reproduce your problem in Ubuntu 8.10, Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Just figured it out:
Simultaneously pressing Alt + F12, didn't work.
I had to first press Alt and then F12 to enable/disable.
However, Simultaneously pressing Ctrl+Alt+F12 is working perfectly :-)
