[feature request]: Network scanner using python #1314

Closed rajdip-b closed 2 years ago

rajdip-b commented 2 years ago

Is there an existing issue for this?

Describe the feature.

A python script that would scan all the local network and display all active hosts along with their device types.

Problem/Motivation.

Often in our day to day networking, we encounter issues with our routers and wonder why is the speed below the expected. Many a times it is also a concern for people to inspect their own network and see if anyone else have access to their network without their concern. This script comes in handy in these conditions.

Possible Solution/Pitch.

This script would be helpful for scanning the network for suspicious devices or even just viewing the current users.

Anything else?
