Request: share link option to create a clickable link to manufacturer parts

The other day found your awesome app. Thanks for all the hard work on it. :)

But when I used the share links with a friend, the output types were very text based. And links were long and cumbersome.

My friend had hoped that I could share a click able image of parts, then when clicking on each of them would open to the vendor I purchased from.

Might be able to help with this endeavor if there is similar interest. And you allow other developer input. Haven't read in depth on the project guidelines yet.

I don't know if it is possible to share a clickable image on iOS or Android, but I'll look into it. Do you have any suggestions on how I should format the output?

I most likely won't allow anyone to directly edit the source code at the moment, but I'll let you know in the future! Thanks for bringing this up.

This is just an idea. But basically the search would need to look at the specific vendor's webpage of the component for images, then determine if the image is a "part"/"component". There might be an easier way to do this. Especially if the webpage has an api for developers. I dont know specifics on newegg/amazon/etc. But its something you would have to look into. Otherwise, you would need a stock img for the component.

But that's my quick/dirty idea flow. ^
