Reverts Harvard-PRINCESS/Guppy#63

this doesn't compile yet and is not actually organized into a barrelfish module.

this is an in-progress pull request. when reviews have been requested, it can be reviewed, tested and then pulled into dev as per the github workflow kindly put together by alex and mark

ok, so "in progress" actually means "not ready"?

Also, on reflection, the import should have been pulled up to the dev branch separately.
