lots of new features! lots of new fixes!

from changelog, simon has a new DSL to add to the party, and there are some new device files for armv7 and armv8 hardware including CPUs

i think i may need to refork.. we polluted the fork with non-upstreamable changes before we cloned that into Guppy..
