the first world I tried to create crashed upon creation. second warned of 'incompatable datapacks' (which it either prompted me to run 'safe'(completely vanilla) or not create a world at all.
edit: third world I tried to create actually worked. I'm still not sure if this issue just fixed itself for no reason, or if I was just lucky this one time.
