QUESTION: Independent gif layer/layers & export as gif #166

Thank you for the incredible app!

The gif feature was not exactly what I needed, was looking to have a single layer or multiple layers be gif and output a gif instead of a png. After reviewing the code I realized how this currently would not be possible.

I believe I can write an extension of sorts to build and add the functionality I'm looking for. Before I did was wondering if anyone on the team had any suggestions or thoughts on the matter. Planning on making a PR and hopefully getting it through if it fits your team's standard of work.

This would be awesome or at least change the .png function to any extension
